To swim against tide
Is usually appreciated
As the applauders want
The doer to know
That they cannot do
But they appreciate
Not stand with doer
But just appreciate
This way they could
Have their cakes
And eat those too
One could even let
The naysayers off the hook
But these fence sitters
Don’t merit even
Being thought about
