What makes one envious? 

The overwhelming feeling 

To own something that

Other have just to

Feel an equal in eyes of others 

The sick feeling

To deprive someone of something 

That one has to

Feel superior In eyes of others

One points towards equality 

In the eyes of others

Other points towards inequality 

In the eyes of others 

The same feeling pushes

One to strive for two

Distinct outcomes 

Is one better than the other?
