Wisdom is overrated

Look around the world 

One need not be wise to live

Better even to thrive

One could coast through life

With no wisdom whatsoever

One could become powerful

Without an iota of self awareness

Let alone wisdom, who then

Is wisdom for?

It is for those who long

To be remembered in posterity 

But when posterity is not a given

Is wisdom of any real value?

I feel it is narcissistic of me to explain about myself. I want to consider myself as an explorer. Hence my blog title Thedal Payanam(Roughly translates as Journey towards exploration).
