I was drunk as hell that night

Suddenly the world made sense:

Humans are crazy beasts

Worrying about their insignificant lives

Running after everything transient

Without knowing their own transient being

I was drunk as hell that night

Suddenly the world made sense:

Societies are made up to isolate oneself

Beliefs are formed to advertise moral superiority

“Othering” happens so effortlessly

Without knowing they themselves are “Others”

I was drunk as hell that night

Suddenly the world made sense:

Self-Interests exhibited as Universal Truths

Repentance branded as generosity

Loneliness expressed as Universal Love

Mortality termed as Legacy
