Getting informed is a placebo
It gives an illusion of usefulness
When in fact it is just that – an illusion
Someone getting informed on geopolitical
Affairs without having the power to do
Anything to affect those, or
Someone getting informed on boon/bane
Arguments about latest technology
With no influence to shape its course
Someone getting informed on scientific endeavors
With no clear understanding of basic science
Is just as informed as someone who is not informed
Yet, people tend to do this with no thinking
Is it due to the human urge of wanting to feel useful, or
Is it due to the human fear of inevitable end?
