What can one Imagine?
Something that one never saw, or
Only the things that one ever saw
Can one one imagine something
That one never saw?
Won’t that be simply based on the things
That one saw but, maybe in an enhanced or strange way?
Is there an imagination unadulterated by the reality
Of one’s surroundings in particular
And of the world as a whole in general?
One wouldn’t Imagine a better world
Had one didn’t live in a messy world
One wouldn’t imagine a better life
Had one’s life been already perfect
Death kills one’s imagination, hence
People imagine a life after death
In a futile attempt to defeat death
