Selfish or Good Will

Ones who are against death penalty 

Are they being selfish

Knowing their lives could turn upside down 

In no time and they might be the ones facing

Death Penalty, or

Are they acting truly on Good Will?

People protesting for greater good of all

Are they merely more self-aware individuals or

Are they truely compassionate souls?

Does it matter, one might ask

Of course it doesn’t just as

Everything else in this life.
