A stranger helping an asshole
Should one be angry at the unfair world, or
Should one wonder if he deserve it
Why should he deserve such kindness?
Is it written or is he getting something back for
Something he did before he became an asshole?
If he passes on the help to a stranger
Is he still an asshole or he immediately becomes a humanitarian?
One act of kindness doesn’t change the world
Nor does it transform assholes to humanitarians
But it does bring a tiny streak of light
Into the bleak absurd world
